Sarah Paulson discussed aging in a new interview with longtime pal and fellow actor Pedro Pascal.
In the conversation between the two stars for Interview Magazine, the Nurse Ratched star lightheartedly said, 'Well, [because] I don’t shoot anything into my face at this particular juncture, I imagine everyone knows I’m 49.'
And the pair, who often appear on TV and in movies, spoke about how stage acting affects their vitality.
Pascal suggested that 'going back to the theater' is something 'that’s going to keep you young,' but Paulson, who stars in the Broadway show Appropriate, disagreed.
'Oh my god,' Sarah — who dates 81-year-old Holland Taylor — replied. 'If there’s anything that’s going to age me rapidly, it’s going back to the theater.'

She admitted that she thinks being expressive on stage night after night is taking a toll on her skin.
'Sometimes I’m backstage doing this play, Appropriate, and I’m thinking, "Wow, I’m making these facial expressions multiple times a day all day for months on end. I’ve never had those lines in between my eyebrows."
'Well, I expect when I’m done with this play, they’ll be there permanently.'
Promoting the latest issue of Interview, which features Rihanna cloaked in a habit, the publication's official Instagram teased Sarah's photo shoot on Tuesday.
The caption read, 'Actor, thespian, and pillar of the Ryan Murphy-verse @mssarahcatharinepaulson joins her day one @pascalispunk to reminisce on their scrappy origins in New York, first major Hollywood breakthroughs, and the path that led Paulson to her starring role in the on-Broadway @appropriateplay.'
And Sarah also posted outtakes from the shoot on her Instagram profile, where she engaged 4.1 million followers.
'Thanks for this wild and crazy day,' she said about the photo session with photographer Daniel Arnold.
And she gave her old friend a shoutout, writing, 'Interviewed by @pascalispunk I LOVE YOU THE MOST.'

The latest issue of Interview features Rihanna cloaked in a habit. Paulson acknowledged that she was 'glad to be gracing the same issue with the magical queen on the cover'
At one point in the sit-down, Paulson acknowledged that she was 'glad to be gracing the same issue with the magical queen on the cover,' as she gave Rihanna praise.
However, the racy cover photo of the Bajan pop singer, 36, was not well-received by all.
Rihanna ruffled feathers while dressed as a sexy nun in a button-up white shirt that exposed her oiled-up cleavage.
